Wheere joins the 2025 class of the French Tech 2030 program
French deeptech Wheere, a specialist in indoor geolocation technologies, has just been selected to join the new class of the French Tech 2030 program. This national initiative, run by Mission French Tech in partnership with Bpifrance and the Secrétariat général pour l'investissement (SGPI), aims to support the most promising deeptech companies in France.
A program for sovereign innovation
Launched to accelerate the industrialization of disruptive technologies, the French Tech 2030 program supports companies identified as strategic for the technological and industrial sovereignty of France and Europe. With this selection, Wheere joins a select circle of 80 companies considered pivotal to strengthening the continent's digital autonomy.
This scheme offers prizewinners personalized support piloted by Mission French Tech. A dedicated advisor will follow Wheere's teams to help them accelerate their key development areas: financing, sales strategy, international expansion and industrial deployment.
Wheere, a deeptech on the rise
Founded and based in Castelnau-le-Lez, France, Wheere is developing a 100% French indoor geolocation technology. Unlike systems based on GNSS infrastructures, the company's solution provides ultra-precise, sovereign positioning, designed to meet the most demanding industrial needs.
This approach contributes to strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructures and securing industrial uses, in a context where digital autonomy has become a major priority. By extending the European impetus initiated with Galileo, Wheere is part of a drive to strengthen technologies essential to strategic independence.

A strategic challenge for digital sovereignty
For Pierre-Arnaud Coquelin, CEO and co-founder of Wheere, this distinction confirms the essential place of location technologies in the deeptech landscape:
"We' re proud to be part of the new French Tech 2030 class. This distinction highlights the importance of technologies that are sometimes discreet, but essential to the digital sovereignty of France and Europe. At a time when much attention is focused on artificial intelligence and quantum technology, it's crucial to remember that technological building blocks such as geolocation are the very foundations of our technological independence. Guaranteeing control of these infrastructures means reinforcing the resilience and security of our industries and territories.
