Wheere, Winner of the Aerospace Valley 2025 Innovation Awards

Every year, the Aerospace Valley Innovation Awards recognize the most promising innovations in the aerospace and drone industries. More than just a distinction, these awards provide financial support, enhanced visibility within the European industrial ecosystem, and the opportunity to receive support in the development and implementation of their innovation project. For this 2025 edition, three companies have been honored: BWI, UNIVITY and Wheere were recognized for their ability to push back the technological boundaries in their respective fields.

An event to promote innovation

InnoDay 2025, the Aerospace Valley ecosystem's key innovation event, was held on October 8, 2025 at La Cité in Toulouse.

The event brought together startups, laboratories and major groups to highlight technological solutions to the new challenges facing the aerospace industry.

This was also the occasion for the Aerospace Valley Innovation Awards ceremony, in which Wheere was pleased to participate as a prizewinner.

Why was Wheere selected?

Wheere has been selected by Sopra Steria for its high-potential innovation in the field of geolocation.

What convinced the jury:

  • indoor geolocation technology capable of covering up to 1 km² with just four antennas

  • a minimalist infrastructure for easy integration and scalability

  • a "no-limit" approach, thanks to the future LEO PNT micro-satellite constellation.
