Gateway Mobile
They generate the Wheere signals that enable a tracker to locate itself. These portable gateways can be easily moved from one area to another, depending on the perimeter to be covered. They are waterproof, dustproof and resistant to temperature variations. They require no configuration, making them quick and easy to deploy. Each gateway is connected by a cable to an external antenna on a tripod.
The mobile gateways can be plugged into a 220V socket and have a 12-hour battery life.
The mobile gateway kit can be complemented with ready-to-use Wheere trackers or third-party trackers integrating our modules.

Tracker Wheere
The Wheere tracker is a ready-to-use device for geolocating a person or object in an area covered by Wheere gateways. In addition to the Wheere module, it contains 4G, Bluetooth and LoRa transmission, a rechargeable battery, a GNSS receiver and more.
The tracker is interfaced with Wheere Cloud software, which enables it to be controlled and administered, and to display transmitted data such as position on a map.

Would you like to integrate Wheere geolocation into your business software? We offer a complete, ready-to-use module-tracker-API chain and development resources.
Wheere technology is based on the installation of gateways at the ends of the area to be covered. These stations continuously transmit 21 pure, unmodulated carriers on fine sub-bands in the following frequency ranges: 66-88 and 136-174 MHz.
The Wheere module, integrated into the tracker, measures the phase of the signals and calculates the position with an accuracy of less than one meter. Latitude, longitude and altitude information is then transmitted via SPI to the tracker's printed circuit board, which can relay this data in three ways:
- The data is transmitted via Bluetooth to a nearby device (computer, tablet, etc.).
- The data is transmitted in LoRa to a LoRa gateway, which then transmits the information to the Wheere server.
- The data is transmitted directly to the server over 4G using an MQTT protocol.
The Wheere server then transmits this data to your software via a REST API. For security or confidentiality reasons, it is also possible to replace the Wheere server with another local or cloud server of the end-customer's choice.
It should be noted that our MQTT and REST API communication protocols are based on the most interoperable communications principles available today: OpenAPI Specification and JSON Api.
Data security at Wheere
At Wheere, data security is our top priority.
Every link in our chain, from gateways to modules, trackers, servers and software, is designed to offer maximum protection to users.
Our firmware for modules and gateways is encrypted right up to the secure bootloader, guaranteeing protection against threats right from the start.
The transmission of position data via MQTT is secured by TLS, with logins and passwords renewed daily.
In addition, our REST APIs benefit from TLS security, access via OAuth 2.0 and fine-grained tokens, ensuring robust protection that can be adapted to the specific needs of each user.
