Digital Twin

A digital twin is a dynamic virtual replica of an object, a process, a building, or even an entire city. Unlike a simple static 3D model, a digital twin is fed in real time with data from sensors (IoT), cameras, or geolocation systems installed on the physical object.

This constant connection allows the virtual model to accurately reflect the exact state and behavior of its physical counterpart at all times.

In the real estate, logistics, and industrial sectors, digital twins are used to:

  • Simulate and Test: Anticipate the impact of changes (such as warehouse reorganization or the addition of a production line) before implementing them in the real world.
  • Optimize maintenance: Predict machine breakdowns or building vulnerabilities by analyzing historical data (predictive maintenance).
  • Manage flows: Monitor and optimize the movement of goods, vehicles, or employees on a site in real time.
