Indoor geolocation refers to all technologies and methods that enable the precise location of people, objects or equipment inside buildings or enclosed infrastructures. Unlike GPS, which does not work effectively indoors due to the weakening of the satellite signal, indoor geolocation relies on alternative technologies such as radio frequencies (UWB, BLE, RFID), beacons, inertial sensors or Wi-Fi signals.
