Computer Vision

Computer Vision is a branch of artificial intelligence that enables computers and computer systems to analyze, process, and “understand” digital images or videos, and then perform actions or issue alerts accordingly.

Whereas a conventional camera simply records a scene, computer vision adds a layer of automated analysis capable of recognizing shapes, detecting motion, identifying objects, or reading text in real time.

In the industrial and logistics sectors, it has numerous applications:

Autonomous Navigation: Guidance for Mobile Robots (AGVs/AMRs) and Building Inspection Drones.

Quality Control and Inventory: Automatic inspection of goods and instant scanning of barcodes or markings on pallets.

Site Safety: Automatic intrusion detection, verification of PPE use (helmets, vests), or detection of fires breaking out in a warehouse.

Flow Optimization: Analysis of vehicle traffic in a parking lot or of forklifts in a logistics area to prevent congestion.
